    What? So does this need a 20A power socket? The standard home 15A socket can't do 2000W.

    OK, I see it now. It's a 220-240V only power supply.

    Interesting that they marked it 230V only on the label, because the pictures show a connector with horizontal blades instead of vertical ones that's typically paired with a 20A wall plug in the US.

    The plug on the power supply is a C19 connector and is used for a few things.

    EVGA is already popular with miners. This PSU is obviously for these guys.

    I agree. I have both the EVGA 1600 T2 and the Corsair 1500 AXi and can attest that both are solid with me, personally, favoring the EVGA a bit for it's use of same facing cable retaining clips vs Corsair's opposed and the cables that come with EVGA are better suited for mining (tube sleeved vs flat variant of Corsair).

    However one big gripe with EVGA is that their cables are 8pin + 6 pin and thus if you have 8+8 cards you have to order other cables. It's a pitty they don't offer 8 with 6+2 cables.
