AnandTech Cooling Rating

Rating (x/10)

Performance

The Senfu watercooler performs better than any conventional fan/heatsink combo heatsink. But comparing it to a normal heatsink is a bit unfair. Since this is the first watercooler tested, we cannot compare it directly to other watercooling solutions, but we can tell that there's still room for improvement.

6.5

Features

The Senfu watercooler installs on just about any CPU currently available. The scope of delivery is impressive. Thermal compound, insulation material, tubes, a spare o-ring - everything you need is included, even a small screwdriver.

9.0

Noise

The noise from the water pump is hardly bearable, and in addition, the two fans on the radiator are quite loud. For lower noise, buy a different pump

1.0

Quality

The quality of the heat exchanger and the radiator is really excellent, the weak point, again, is the pump. Another point of criticism are the Athlon mounting clips.

6.0

Documentation & Installation

The watercooler comes with a single sheet of documentation, and the instructions aren't quite clear on some points. However, with a bit of common sense, the watercooler is very easy to install.

5.0

Availability

The watercooler is not yet available in the US, only in Canada, Japan, Taiwan and soon in Germany. It is unlikely that you will find this watercooler in normal computer shops, but some mail-order retailers specialized in cooling products will likely carry this product soon.
